Swim team and swim lessons are also available.

AS of November 1, 2025 the lap pool at MV will be open and heated each day to 74degrees.
Beginning the week of 12/15, we will pull covers on and off during daylight hours only. We try to limit our heat loss due to sunlight and evaporation by only having the pool uncovered during the brighter daylight hours. The pool will be open from 10am until 4pm each day. On days that the ambient temperature is below 45 degrees at 10am, we will keep the covers on and will keep pool closed for the entire day.
We know that many times during this time of year the weather can be really nice here in North Florida ( 40 degrees in the morning and 80 degrees by 3pm), and at this time we have friends and family visiting us for the holidays. To help make sure the facility is available we will leave the covers off for the weekend hours- the pool will be available for all adult residents and their adult guests through-out the weekends during our holiday breaks. Unless we have some odd weekend or days where the local weather stations are planning for an extreme freeze warning we will keep the pools open for the extended hours on Saturdays and Sundays. Please be aware that typically we have so many of these cold days and freeze warning days that we tend to shut down the heated pool in the middle of January and keep the covers on daily until Spring Break to conserve energy - We only heat the pool for 10/11 months of the year.
Both fitness facilities will be informed of the pool status. If we are to be closed due to temperature (or other issues such as mechanical) they will let you know. You may call the fitness center at (904) 647-5262, or stop by either facility to inquire.
